Making my own three phase motor controller is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I would say this project is the culmination of my education as an EE at MIT.

The DOOM SLED (version 2) was designed for icy wastelands, geared for top end speed, and gifted the power of around 9 electrical horses. Steered using the soles of your feet and incorporating a diabolically sized rear tire.

For my final project for 6.4212, Robotic Manipulation, I was in charge of implementing an operation space controller for the Kuka IIWA, a 7 DOF robot arm, which included a null space controller. The project was done in Drake.

Terry is a 6 DOF spherical robot arm that is capable of visiting any position and orientation in space within the arm’s reach.

Something I’ve done as a research assistant at the Biomimetics Lab at MIT is help design the new revision of the spine board used in all the robots at the lab.
